Pro Musica Bona Foundation invites talented young pianists from all over the world to participate in the 3rd Krakow Piano Summer, July 25-August 09, 2017. Master classes, practice, preparation for performance and discussions will be offered near the Old City of Krakow, know for its unique, time-honored and distinguished approach to European culture and traditions. In Krakow, where the paths on Frederic Chopin, Franz Liszt, Artur Rubinstein and Karol Szymanowski crossed, these traditions extend particularly to the the legendary school of Polish piano playing..
The presence of over 200, 000 students attending over 15 colleges and universities contributes to the city's unique atmosphere. Among those institutions, the centuries-old Jagellonian University houses one of the world's most magnificent collections of coveted music manuscripts, including those of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and many others spanning all of music history.
